Wanted – Video Editor

The Role

We are looking for an experienced video editor to support our YouTube channel and educational content.

This is a freelance, per-video role, and not a full-time employment position.

The content is primarily structured, repeatable, talking-head videos that need to look calm, professional, and consistent. It is not for cinematic or over-produced content.

This is for you if you:

✅ Have edited talking-head or educational YouTube content before.

✅ Can accurately follow Nigerian-accented English and corporate/financial terminology without a script.

✅ Are fast, reliable, and detail-oriented.

✅ Can implement clean text overlays and basic polish without overdoing it.

✅ Have a solid remote setup, i.e reliable power and high-speed internet to handle 4K file transfers consistently.

Ability to create clean YouTube thumbnails is an added bonus.

This is NOT for you if:

❌ You’re focused on flashy edits, heavy motion graphics, or “Mr Beast-style” fast-paced edits.

❌ You struggle with West African accents or corporate terminology.

❌ You’re still learning the basics of video editing.

❌ You can’t commit to a consistent weekly turnaround.

❌ You don’t have a reliable backup power solution (Inverter/Gen).
